I got this little camera as an early birthday gift in March, and I have probably taken a thousand pictures with it. The camera takes excellent snapshot photos, closeups. The macro works well too. I am disappointed with the quality of my photos when I zoom or when I am in low light though. Many of them turn out blurry or grainy. I didn't have that problem with my last point-n-shoot digital. Overall I am pleased with my purchase. It's nice to carry around in my pocket or purse in case a surprise photo opportunity pops up.
Pro : small size, large lcd, excellent color quality, excellent snapshots
Con : not good for low light photos, grainy when zoomed

i use this camera for concert photography, and it is one of the best point & shoots for image quality and colors! when people see my photos, they can't believe that i actually use a point and shoot; they all think i'm using exspensive gear when it's just a 200 dollar camera! it's really worth the money because of the quality! i suggest it greatly.
    Pro : image quality!
Con : you have to watch where you hold your hand when taking a video because the audio can get ruined if its covering the speaker!

I got this little camera for my birtday in March and have so far taken literally hundreds of pictures with it. It is a great light weight camera that you can put in your pocket, on your hip in a case or in my case in my Camelback and forget it is even there until you need it. When I got this camera I was looking for something I could literally take EVERYWHERE and I have. The onscreen descriptions of the different settings are very helpful, more so if you are new to digital camera's. Camera has good picture quality and good color especially for a sub $200 point and shoot. A couple of flaws I have noticed is that this camera has a pretty good shutter lag especially when the flash fires when using red eye reduction, but then again it is not a DSLR so maybe that is normal but I would not recommended it if you are doing a lot of action shots. I have also noticed that
the plastic piece on the right side only has one screw and it has come detached at the bottom, more of an annoyance and has not affected the function but I would like to have seen a screw at the top and bottom. The flash also leaves a bit to be desired, it doesn't extend very far… again this may be more of a DSLR vs. point and shoot and I just need to except it for what it is and what it isn't. If you are looking for a light, simple to use everyday camera I would recommend this little Sony for anything from family outing pictures on up with the exception of action shots at close distance so if you are a soccer mom looking for something to shoot junior with you might check the lag time vs. some other point and shoots. Eveyone else I would put this one high on your list.
Pro : Compact, Light Weight, inexpensive, Simple To Use
Con : Not good for action or high speed shots, has a bit of a shutter lag, could use better workmanship

Pro : easy to use, incredibly light, perfect to carry with you at all times, great performance.

this camera is one of a kind. its a point and shoot camera but it allows you to adjust the exposure, and the ISO, which i think is pretty neat. the shutter is pretty fast. i used it for sports and i love the results. its also good for shooting in low lights. specially if your shooting a landscape. just make sure you put in "Program" mode, then set the ISO to 100, to reduce the noise, and also use a tripod so that the photo wont be blurry. this is an awesome camera. you might have to play around with it, in order for you to bring out its full potential. all in all, this is a great camera. and as for the price? i dont think any other camera can beat it… :)
Pro : affordable, easy to use, it has almost all the features that i need, it takes great video and very handy.
    Con : none so far…
