   actually, u can, if you haven’t already figured it out – i was trying it for the longest time cuz it worked for me once and never again, but i finally figured it out! you have to have “adjustable settings” on your REC mode, and then go to your menu, and you’ll have a “color” option for vivid, sepia or B&W.

   i have this and its really good. it does have full HD but that only applies for still images. that means you can only take full HD images and not videos. it only records video in VGA resolution. alright now.

    There might not be application for Mac, but you should be able to just drag the pictures after plugging the camerae for your Book or other Mac.
