Sony Buyer

I plugged my firewire cable into my computer and my camera, a Sony DCR-TRV280, but a "Add New Hardware" screen pops up that reads "Sony DV-VCR," it can’t install and it’s driving me mad, there arn’t any disks except for Picture Package 1.5, which is no help. If any one could help me find a driver for this, it will be greatly appreciated.
