Sony Ericsson’s “back with a vengeance” with the Idou. This multimedia monster sports a 12.1MP camera, full toucshcreen, and Symbian OS. It won’t ship until later this year, but Noah got a demo of the current prototype at MWC 2009 in Barcelona.

the PSP-like UI is only activated in the “Media” so if you dont like it then dont use the “Media”? how hard can that really be? Sounds like you dont even know how a SE phone build today. The musicplayer and all the rest can be accessed via programs also. LOL your asking me what UI is? thats User Interface that’s oblivious, but I really dont need to discuss all this with a kid like you, I worked with phones for 10 years.

oh ed this phone rock =D cool GUI big screen compared with omnia HD much better than any lg phone… yea cant agree much =D im still using k850i (first 5megapixel ) after 1 year it came out with 12.1mp already…. with touch screen respond will be faster with better updated software …. omg i will get it this year

I also agree that mini USB and 3.5 mm jack are better than SE port, but that port is what makes SE different than Nokia and so far I hadn´t had problems with it.

I bet this was made by HTC just as the xperia and G1 was made by HTC. Usually when Sony ericsson phones have an actual name like ‘xperia, idou’ the actual set is manufactured by a different company.
