While more megapixels does not mean better pictures, the Satio still takes great pictures. Some websites are saying how this phone can replace mid range Point And Shoot cameras. Here’s hoping to a NAM release……

no, MP means mega pixels which is camera quality, MB is megabite which means more pics and stuff.. they’d get all money for a 12.1 MB phone cause it would hold hardly anything at all. LOL ^_^

12.1 MP doesn’t mean better pictures, it just means it can hold waaaay more pics and stuff than smaller MPs
the manufacturers r going to that big number=high price (seems logic, doesn’t it?)

if its 12 megapixel, the camera is going to be good, it only doesnt look good cause its on a video, not in real.

i really want this …
i really want this phone but the camera doesnt seem all that awesome. look at the part where he tried to take the picture of some m&ms looking thing in the white background. the picture looked pretty dull to me.

Get an HTC touch HD …
Get an HTC touch HD and a digital camera. Whether it’s 5mp, 8mp, or 12, or even 20MP, it doesn’t matter when the optics are so small, it doesn’t capture enough light to rival a 5mp dedicated camera
