I'm a big Motorola fan and have sworn by my V60i. I bought a new car that had too much to pass up if you had a bluetooth phone. My cell provider has no bluetooth phones so I walked into Cingular. When I picked up the T616 for the first time it was so light it felt like a toy. The color screen looked like a gimmick. I felt like I was looking at a child's toy. Only with Cingular's full 15 day return policy did I figure I had nothing to lose.

As it turns out, the phone is awesome!!! The features are amazing. Everything from the multiple ringtones to the onboard camera and hundreds of other features, too many to list. The browser works seamlessly (thanks Cingular!) I snapped a picture of my daughter as a goof, but when I emailed and made it my phones wallpaper without even opening up the manual once, I was sold! The light weight does not substitute an ounce of quality. I have call forwarded my Motorola and have never had so much fun with a phone. You will forget it is in your pocket because of it's slick design and lack of weight, but when you remember it is there, you will smile!!!
Pro : Light, awesome features, battery life, to much to list
    Con : None

I love this phone. I have it on the ATT network and have yet to drop a single call.
It is very easy to use and is intuitive, so that references to the manual are not necessary for the most part.
I am disappointed with the volume, however. It is not as high as I would like it to be. Use of the headphone helps, but I don't want to look like a telemarketer!
Pro : Numerous features and easy to use
Con : Volume is too low

I enjoy my Ericsson T616 it is a lot of fun. I enjoy taking pics of people and pets and objects. The technology now a days is tramendous! I don't understand how to get the cool ringtones (that don't come with the phone) or the screensavers or games. Nor do I understand what blue tooth is…would somone please fill me in on that??? I would really appreciate it. I admit I have only had my phone for a week but so far I like it a lot, and have no problems…I deffinitely reccamend it.
Pro : It is light weight looks cool, great games, and ringtones…and a cool camera.
Con : none that I have found yet myself

This is the first phone I really carry with me all the time. I've replaced my palm pda with this phone and use it as a "read-only" pda. If you don't need to have a keyboard and email, this is a great phone to have.
Very light weight and fits in your pocket.
Pro : Syncs with Outlook, vibrate mode & small size, web browsing
Con : Phone sound quality is not ideal

I have had my SonyErisscon T616 from ATT Wireless for nearly 8 months. It has been very durable and solid. It's performance is excellent. The joystick can be a little tricky and sometimes over sensitive. My biggest problem is not with the phone but with the network and their lack of coverage and service. I would recommend anyone considering this phone BUY IT.. but WAIT before you jump into the GSM market. It doesn't have the coverage, strength of signal or service that American digital service does. Had I fully known all the problems with GSM I would have stayed with digital. My carrier was less than truthful (their word: misinformation.. which abounds) regarding the capabilities of the network.. not the phone. I don't know how the phone responds on a fully functional network – I am sure it is dynamite. A testament to SonyEricsson – a detriment to ATT Wireless.
Pro : functionality, camera, internet access
Con : joystick can be troublesome and difficult to use

I got this phone in december and I absolutely love it. It is very colorful, you can change the wallpaper, download games (I play wheel of fourtune all the time) and get new ringtones. I love that you can set pictures with peoples name so their picture appears when they are calling. It is also very lightweight which is a nice change from my old phnone.
    Overall a great phone.
Pro : EVERYTHING! great games, ring tones, color screen, ect
Con : Ring volume a litle low, camera quality a little low

not as loud as i hoped, but still gets the job done.

    Con : ring volume

I got my phone 2 days after ordering it online from at&t, i got an instant rebate and it ended up being free….that was a good deal!
Pro : alllllll the cool features
    Con : no speaker phone:(

I like the look and feel of this phone and it has served me fairly well. Had to send it back once after a hard fall to the ground, but other than that has worked well. However, I do not like the menu system and laptop-like nobby for controls. My next phone will not use controls like this for sure.
Pro : very stable and nice features
Con : menu system and controls hard to use

1: Absolutely EATS battery charge. Needs incessant
re-charging with normal use, in my case about every
other day. In stand-by-only mode, from a full charge
to about 95% DIScharge in approximately 68 hours.

2: No matter how it's set, the ringer CANNOT be heard
in common environments like a car going down the
freeway or a crowded shopping mall.

3: The screen is positively UNREADABLE in open daylight.

4: The first 10 to 15 seconds of most outgoing calls
    are GARBLED.

AT&T personnel at a local shopping mall kiosk agreed
with my assessment, said SONY purportedly was well aware
of these problems and replaced this model with a T637.
In my opinion, the T616 should NOT be sold. For the
reasons specified it is an UNRELIABLE device.
    Pro : Great features
Con : Does NOT work as it should
