When i took it out of the box, i noticed that the keypad was unlike the cheap ones utilized on most cellphones and they are spaced just right. T9 response on this phone is also remarkable, i have used other SE phones before where inputting text was such a challenge in patience.
The menu is very user friendly. even texting using the menu has so many options with just a push of a button!
I can even use is phone as a flash disk! The loudspeaker doesn't produce a broken sound even when i max the volume. the 512MB pro duo stick is just right for me to save enough songs to enjoy drives and trips. the tft screen is so clear and the pictures taken on the 2.0MP camera has a great quality.
The manufacturers were thoughtful enough to include 3 sets of earphone plugs to accommodate various ear sizes too.This is such a feature packed phone in such a small package.
There are still various features that i have to explore on this phone! I will never grow bored

Its very advanced, yet compact, 3 in 1 device. A mobile phone, a very good camera and a walkman (mp3 player). All 3 features delivered at very good quality and are fitted into just 99 gms. What else you want?
On top of that, you can literally use this device as only phone, or only walkman or camera. Now u know why i call it as a *3 in 1 Device*. You can switch off the phone mode and use it only as a mp3 player (very useful in flights). And imagine, you can listen to music for 30 nonstop hrs. Unbelievable? believe it. Also, just slide the lens cover and u r ready to capture the moment. Auto focus feature of the camera is very useful. I wish, i could have upload few pics here, taken by my new w800i.
No doubt, its a best phone….sorry 3in1 device, i have ever had.

Last year I had Nokia phones and was using till MAY and then I purchased SE S700I and tell u was in love with the phone the picture clarity and sound was just amazing and recently I purchased W800i the picture & sound quality and clarity is mind blowing you wont get this in Nokia phone and I bet u in not any of the Nokia phone. Nokia is not even closer in terms of features what SE gives.

For a phone this size, it is amazing what it can do. The phone is tiny, camera is excellent, the walkman feature is great, quick start up time when you turn it on, and good signal. It is probably the best phone that is around right now.

Excellent phone. So far so good. Has practically everything you would need in a phone, email and texting model. The sound is amazing even when playing through the loud speaker.

Great battery life.
Compact.
Nice accesories included in the original package.
2 MP camera, very good zoom.
It has an integrated lamp.
512 MB of memory stick duo, included, but you can put a 1 giga and you will enjoy a lot of music or photos, or videos.
Bluetooth, your laptop doesn't have bluetooth? just use the infrared port.
FM Radio integrated, you don't have to carry an extra device with you, just plug the earphones, that's it.
Pro : It's a real cell, a real camera and a real MP3 player
Con : The color, if you are a 40 old year person, like me

Ok i dont write reviews ever! but with this phone, it deserves my recommendation letter =). Its a very good phone, no lag time on software, crisp picture, great viedo, and amazing headsets (even better than iPod headsets). About the price, you have to be resourceful, i got mine for $175.00, i use to have nokia 7210 and its a great leap from that phone to this one. Go get one if you need an upgrade! Amazing phone, blows all nokias and samsumgs! its not a smartphone ok, its a candyfone so make sure you know what you need from a phone.

2 days after purchase, phone was frozen. Unable to restart, bruise up my fingers trying to open the battery cover. Try for 3 days with no luck, customer service tell me "Sorry, doesn't cover under warranty." Local repair shop said they have the same problems with this phone, were tell "try smashing it on the floor."! Anyone else experiencing this problem??

This phone is pretty good, it's got the great 2.0 M pixel camera on it, it supports a large capacity MS pro duo card (2 or 4 GB, I know the 810i is 4GB), and is a walkman phone (if you like that sorta thing).
There is a phone that is almost just as good and alot cheaper though. Go for the SE K750i… It is an international phone, but you can buy it online very easily. It is also unlocked which means you can use it for Cingular, or T-Mobile, as well as overseas while travelling. It's only a tri band phone (no 850Mhz) so its only good if you don't really use that band, but otherwise is great. It has a 2.0 camera on it as well (with flash that can also be used as a flashlight) and does 30 second videos. It only allows up to 1GB cards (comes with a 64MB card, buy a 1GB from Amazon for $35) since it is not a walkman phone, but has all the same qualities as the walkman phones, has media player, FM radio, has "Play Now" and comes with stereo headphones/with microphone for headset capabilities… Also it has the same Fast Port on it that the W600, W800, W810 and others use and can use all the same accessories as them as well… You can get tons of free themes, background wallpapers, ringtones etc from SE (even the "walkman" theme in orange that comes with the other models…).
So if you don't need the UMTS 2100MHz support for overseas, or quad band and large card capacity, then this is the phone for you. Got mine from TigerDirect for $269.99 and reviews all have 5 stars for it. Also has AMAZING battery life (400 hrs Standby and 9 hrs Talk times).
Get it in black (or Silver if you can find it). Since it is International, it may come from a variety of other countries and this means that the included manual and other downloads on it may be in another language (mine was in French). This is not a problem since you can change the language option to "sim default" or set it to "english" or others… And you can download all manuals and other user guides from the SE website in all languages… The power charger will include an adapter for US plugs as well, though you can always buy another regular one from the SE website or Amazon…

I got my cellphone 2 years ago, the price was around $400. I thought it was quite expensive for a cellphone, however, as I started getting oriented with this equipment, I just fell inlove with it. I am not a great fan of SONY but I think my next cellphone will be another one from Sony Ericsson. If you love taking photos, THIS IS A MUST HAVE!!(I never missed any unforgettable seen)! The video coverage is clear and long (no more 10 sec clips).Easy to upload and always on my pocket! Plus I could upload your favorite songs to listen whenever I am bored, The sound quality is awesome.
Pro : The camera takes excellent photos.
Con : If I have any technical issues–not sure who to call
