Most important as well is the recording time on the 8GB memory is 1hr at the best quality, the 3 hours is at a reduced High-def resolution which isn’t as good.

7 hours of battery is not the small battery life. 7 hours is the maximum battery hours using the biggest battery sony sells ,not the small one

FIRST, go to wolfcamera and get the price on your camera, then have best buy match that pricing, i know that best buy probly over charged you for your camera. you can also go to wolf cameras online store and purchase another battery… but 1.5-2 hours is actually alot of recording

Where do you buy the battery the guy in this review was refering to? The staff at best buy also said that you could buy a better battery for the camera and it would last you much longer. I also seen some people in youtube talk about it but nobody says where it can be bought.

haha… the staff is right. my hdr-xr100 only gives me about 2 hours max battery life. i can’t imagine this tiny tiny camera getting much more than my camera

I just bought mone on this saturday a black one didnt have it in silver one they had to special order it, i was gonna get the 16GB memory card there at the store but $120 is too much for me so i bought in on ebay for $65 this camcorder is really good

I bought this camera last night at Best Buy. They didn’t have it on stock, so they order one for me. The staff there was not right about the life of the battery. They had told me that battery would run for only 1.5 hours, It seems like it was a great choice.
