i don’t own one, but no i don’t believe this has 24p. 24p is a really advanced feature, and i don’t think sony has mastered it yet. they have their own CineFrame, which is their technique of replicating 24 fps, but it’s mostly found on their more professional camcorders. but this is all from knowledge, check out the website.

The Sony Ux5 is …
The Sony Ux5 is kinda in between. It records to a DVD, which means that the quality will be better than a camcorder that records to a memory card (SD9), UX5 recirds to a dvd which is similar to the quality of a mini DV, but not as good, but it is easier to edit.
