    definetly not! there is only difference between the hard discs… HD of the SR12E is 120GB and nearly 600 Euros more expensive then the SR11E that has got a 60GB HDD. nearly 600 euro’s for just more Hard disc space…
    The other thing are the same, not more zoom, not higher resolution….

    Das Mic. ist im gegensatz zur HF 100 oben, was einen nicht so tollen Ton erzeugt, habe mit Handycams die meistens das Mic oben statt vorne schlechter Ton Erfahrungen machen müssen. Hier kann nur ein Externes Mic. Abhilfe schaffen.

    The HDR-SR12E is definitely worth the extra money because there is a significant difference between the two Hard Disk Drives’ space.

    I own the Sony HDR-SR12E which is the model up and I have to agree with the statement about the CMOS sensor being slow. It does sometimes take a long time to automatically adjust the focus. However, overall I am impressed with the SR12E and highly recommend the SR series
