This is really worth buying. I got mine at Bestbuy and they were able to lower the price by a lot by comparing it to a local store like Costco. This is awesome for professinals, posting videos on Yahoo! Video or Youtube, or if you just like making movies. If records to AVCHD, and if you want a different format for a smaller file size, you can convert it to WMV though it will lose HD. Very good choice for a camcorder-lover.
