The Sony HVR Z7 is one of the newest HDV camcorders in the pro-sumer/professional lineup. Excerpted from the VASST “Inside the Z7 Camcorder,” this covers the Smooth Slo and Interval Recording segments of the 2:15 long DVD. More than 2 hours of training plus an HDV bonus chapter.

    The V1 doesn’t have removeable lens, this cam has much petter encoding, has bigger imager, and has next-generation noise reduction. Imager is 1/3″ not 1/4″

    That was awsome. I finally understand what the shot transition feature is. I just got a 7u. I havent yet used it the HDV mode. Im not ready for blue ray yet. Can I shoot in HDV, and then burn on DVD. Should I use 1080i 1080p 780..??? Im just a bit confused. I came from a PD170. Love that camera. Thanks
