   Ive had this player for about 2 weeks now and im really pleased with it…I bought this mainly for the sound quality as Sony in my opinion has the best sound…BUT..The earphones that come with this player are terrible!…There is no bass..But when i put my old Sony earphones in (which came with the old Sony A818)..The sound is the best ive ever heard on an mp3 player..I just cant understand this!!

   i compared ipod touch 2g with others and im sick of everybody saying ipod touch has bad sound and yes that was true for the 1st gen but the 2nd gen (2g) is waaaay better especually with the new apple in ear headphones that have 2 drivers in each headpiece i listend to my firends sony walkman and it sounded like i was listening music from a hallway not from the headphones so i dont know what ur talking about

   well get a walkman (most preferably an A class) and listen and compare on how much better it sounds , i want a mp3 player that sounds good, not because everyone has it means that i have to get it.

    i was still debating should i get Ipod touch or this but now since this is going to be release soon..fuck, I am soo getting this. I don’t care if the screen is smaller I care bout the sound quality.

    Tbh i dont think this has anything on the Ipod Touch. The touch screen doesnt look as reponsive or impressive, they have totally ripped off apple with the album scrolling thing. All they have done is turned it around T_T. The sound quailty may be better but the ipod has so much to more offer – one being the app store with a load of different to play around with. i think the ipod looks a lot more slicker too. From what ive seen it doesnt seemed to match up the ipod, ill have wait and see

    Sony may not be popular anymore from Apple stealing there spotlight , BUT ME!!! they still build THE best music players EVER, and they sound soo in ic!!! beats apple at there own game anyday,
