   Correct. The fact remains, however, that the percentage of PS3s with a disc-loading problem are virtually unheard of.

    Not really, if I was a fanboy I wouldn’t have bought a PS3. I can’t think of any electronic device that has had an equivalent issue to the ring of death. That doesn’t mean that the slot loading BluRay drive is flawless.

    The weight of the XBOX 360 and power brick is less then the weight of the PS3. The slot loading BluRay drive does break a lot. There is no such thing as the red ring of doom. There is however a red ring of death.
