Why don’t they release the prs 770 in the UK. I wont buy a 505 when I know the 700 touch screen is out there.

Thanks for that.
…
Thanks for that.
Im getting one tomorrow and was just looking around. I know there are cons to this, but there’s nothing that makes me not want to get it.
Relatively early adopter. Pay a good amount. Ill enjoy it. I could waste my money on something else. I will enjoy this and you can’t put a price on enjoyment, so whatever.
Thanks again!

If you already have ebooks on your pc (or pdfs or whatever) you can you just throw them onto your reader? or do you have to buy (from sony or whatever) everytime?

Thanks for the video!
505 is brighter white.
Anyone interested in the 505 might want to wait for another month, until the Sony PRS-700 will be released.
Best to wait and see the performance/battery-life differences, and then decide.

PRS 505 works …
PRS 505 works better with PDF, while 500 opens PDF very slow. I own PRS 500 and I am happy by now. Plan to buy PRS 505.

I’m not so bothered …
I’m not so bothered by the refresh rate. I’d rather want clearer and crisper image over faster refresh rate. The closer it can look and feel like a book, the better. The image looks better on the 505

you missed it, when …
you missed it, when the 505 came out, sony was selling the remaining 500s at $70, it’s still expensive for some people, but I think it was worth it…funny thing is I have not read a single novel since highschool (10 years) after I got this thing, I’m always on a book

I’ve played with …
I’ve played with the Reader a bit in my store, and I’ve developed quite a fondness for it. The button layout is pretty nice, and I’m in love with the screen. The E-ink display mimics printed paper almost perfectly.
I want one, but the price is much too steep for me. $300 for the reader and then $6 to purchase a book… Even with the wealth of pirated and free e-published titles available, the entry price is pretty scandalous. Half it and I expect Sony will see many more adopters.

There isn’t much …
There isn’t much difference, but the button layout and the design make me long for the new one.
