    any reader with the ink tecnology thing can do that. the kindel is expensive and the illiad and cybook average at 350. this one is 300(in vid) i think the cybook has a better design but this one has more book choice, longer battery as well as some other prominet features. if it were my choice i would go with the sony.     Ya. Same here. I am a student to takes a LOT of notes in class. I make PDF files out of the notes with a Bamboo Fun (I write with the tablet and convert it into text). I would suggest this for a high school or college student. I would suggest the Kindle for extensive readers like your prune of a librarian.
