That tick tock tick tock noise in the background make me sound like I’m in a Chinese water torture test. STOP!! :)

Thanks for making this video. I’ve checked out the reader in a Sony store, but of course that didn’t include PDF’s. It’s frustrating, the newer PRS-700 gets complaints about the screen. The Kindle tries to strongarm you towards purchased content, and PlasticLogic is big and won’t be out for a while.

It could be worth your while to check out the PRS-700. Touch screen, annotation, and a faster processor (meaning faster page turns).

    You make a good …
You make a good point. I read mainly textbooks and journals, and the prospect of 2 or 4 slowish page turns per A4 page concerned me. For text, novels, and for A4 readers with more patience than me, it looks like a great paper alternative. Enjoy:)

But it takes a while to turn a page in a real book.
I’ve just bought one of these for myself for Xmas, but have given it to a friend to hold until giving it to me, wrapped, just before Xmas, so I can’t play with it till Xmas day! The most annoying thing was that I couldn’t find a navy one and had to buy the silver one. I scoured the city!

    For anyone serious …
For anyone serious about buying one of these things – or any other “Ebook Reader” on the market, this is the most important review they need to see. How does the reader handle a flipping PDF in real time? You’d think that just one other Ebook-reader owner or manufacturer would bother to show that in their video. No.

I can now see this reader responds too slowly for me – so Im going to wait for the new Plastic Logic reader. Without your video I would never have known that. Thankyou.
