Unboxing of my new Sony Vaio FW, I customized it tho it has no model number. You can view the specs below. The notebook itself is beatiful, it’s well designed and the display quality is awesome.
Finally I decided to send it back anyway, the full HD resolutionj (1920×1080) hurts my eyes so the result after 1 or 2 hours of work is 100% headache. In my opinion FullHD is just needed for bigger screens, not for 16 inch.

No, most of all the …
No, most of all the new latops won’t come with any CD. You have an option to burn a Recovery DVD. The files are already on your hard drive. Another way is to get all the drivers from sony website.

I sent e-mail to vaio shop in my country (Slovenia) and asked them if i can customize vaio at their shop and they answered customization is only available in USA&Asia and probebly Germany and UK too… Maybe it’s possible to order from USA Sonystyle?

nice laptop.i have one 2.same specs except the full hd and the game card.i dont really use it for gaming or watching movies cause i mostly play xbox 360 and for watching movies i have a 32 xbr6 hd tv which is full hd already so my specs and the centrino 2 is all i need.and maybe in the future i might upgrade the memory to 8 gigs to max it all out from this awesome laptop..thnx for the post..but y did you return it.i would’ve kept that laptop..you should just lowered the brighthness for working..
