had MAJOR issues …
had MAJOR issues with mine after my RAID array got effed.
yes, it has 2, thats 2 harddrives in this sucker in RAID 0. if you lose one HD, you are screwed.
other than that i effin love mine. Only things i didnt get was the 1200res screen (wtf was i thinking) TV tuner, and blueray. otherwise mine was pretty much maxed out.

All VAIO AR’s do …
All VAIO AR’s do not come with recovery cd’s instead sony has a program utility where you can burn back-up and recovery disks on blank media such as blu-ray, dvd’s, or cd’s. I have the AR790U and thought the same thing. You can access this utility by clicking “help and suport” from the start menu.

At the login screen …
At the login screen press ctrl-alt-del and which should bring up a different sign-in dialog box. type in the username of either Admin or Administrator and click ok. the admin accounts usually don’t have a password. When you are in you can go to the User accounts section and change or remove the password to the locked account.
