   Keep your power cord near. The battery doesn't allow you to go too far from a plug in power source. Vista has quite a few bugs.
   Pro : solid hardworking laptop
   Con : vista and battery life

   this is my third vaio, I also use mac products as well as custom built pcs for photography and music production. The vaio is the only out of the box pc that is worth a darn for this kind of work. if you need to do real multi media work and arnt a mac addict than the vaio is what you want. This is a brilliant intro level or portable pc for the recording and photo pro. this particular model is a bit of a light build though, hence the great price, but a good protective case will help this.
   Pro : keeps pace with mac
   Con : need to embrace pro market

   I have had my sent in for repairs 3 times in three months for faulty hard drive. Last time they updated my BIOS and every thing is good. The graphics card is not the best but this is a cheaper laptop. After tweaking and removing alot of bundled software, this computer flies. It took a little work, but it was worth it. I have researched the hard drive issue and I seem to be the only case I have been able to find. All and all, I think this laptop is well worth the money and I will consider sony in my future laptop/desktop purchases.
   Pro : Looks, processor
   Con : Loaded with junk

Have gone through the specification and i recommended it and have told about three (3) friends of my about the sony vaio laptop product. infact about the hard drive size and ethernet access it really give an access to communication. i assure you more product will be sold in my country.
