Settings to make your video widescreen on Sony Vegas Pro 8. Still rendered in Windows Media Video V9 .wmv. Still be able to watch in High Quality Mode. The camera im using is not a HDV camcorder but it features 4:3 and 16:9 mode for shooting. Still waiting for my Canon HV30 High Def cam.

    Everytime I render it works good good, untill a moment while it was rendering my computer suddenly crashes?? Saying that:
    Overtemperature or Overlocking.

    I even gave the computer a rest for 1day and tried it again still happens? wat could the problem be? HELP PLZ!!

    This is wat i got for thing:

    Audio: 128 Kbps, 44,100 Hz, 16 Bit, 5.1 Surround.
    Video: 29.970 fps, 640×480, Quality VBR 90, WMV V9 Compression.

    went over the settings in this video few times, but i think on the first render as window, where it asks you to name it, i changed the name and at the bottom i changed template to default or something like that

    K. I’ve got a clip that has sound on it. But I want a song to play WITH that clip, and Vegas plays only the audio on the clip. Any way that I can mute the clip and play the song? I’ve tried everything and it’s not working. I’ve tried to record the clip with NO sound and now that clip isn’t even playing on Vegas 9…help?

    Guy’s I was using Camtasia B4 but purchesed Sony Vegas thinking it would speed up my rendering,
    however using the same settings for both Camtasia was much faster by as much as four times. Sony vegas is tacking
    well over an hour to convert a 6 min vid. I have listed my settings bellow, please reply if you have a fix.
    My Settings
    Type: Windows Media V9
    Size: HDV 720-30p 1280 x 720
    Mode: CBR
    Rendering Quality: Best
    Video Mode: CBR
    Frame Rate 30.000
    Smothness: 100%
