Drag and drop in Windows is needed badly for all MP3 players. Battery life is fairly high. No USB cable needed. This is the ugly duckling of Sony's MP3 players but the design is comfortable. Clip-on attachment can easily break just by taking it off and putting it back on.
End Result:
Ugly design and no drag & drop in Windows means two losses, a firmware upgrade may fix this in the future. For now it gets 3/5 until the upgrade then it will get a 4/5.
Pro : Small and light weight. Internal battery with really quick charge(3-minutes for 3 hours). Great sound quality.
Con : Needs software for MP3 transfer (Sonic Stage or MP3FM). Ugly.

Sounds good, I also like the way it looks, the only problem is trying to get the music uploaded, if your not a computer wiz it may take some time, but its probably like that with most MP3 players.
Pro : light weight, cute, sounds good
Con : buttons are small

I wouldn't trade this for anything! I got this for Christmas and the only problem I've had is when I want to use another computer to download or add songs, I have to delete everything, register, and start from scratch. I tried the ipod for 2 weeks this summer and it wasn't for me. The volume and song control is so much easier on the Sony. The battery on the Sony is much longer and charges much quicker!

Con : Can't download from multiple computers

When this player comes out of the market, I just bought this instead of ipod since I have experienced listening to atrac 3 plus music format using cd walkman. I found out that this is the best quality sound i've ever heard and now it was incorporated on this model with all the specs and features you are looking for: sleek and handy design, colors to choose from, built in usb, great sound, reasonable prize,longer battery playing time and the software is very easy to use. You can store more music than any music format or player in the market today without distorting the quality of music. This is really best buy.
