How do I connect my Comcast Motorola set-top box to my Sony Bravia NX810 with DVI and L / R audio?

Right now I am my Comcast box to my Sony Bravia connect with a DVI-HDMI cable. Obviously there is no sound, since DVI only carries video. My question is, how do I connect the audio from the Comcast box to the sony tv. I've tried connecting the audio from the audio component spot on the field to the component audio spot on the TV and it has not worked. I've also tried connecting the audio component of the Audio spot on the field to the L / R audio commercial on the TV and it did not work. How do I get my TV to recognize the sound of the box? Thank you for your help! Minnie, Are you sure? Why should the Comcast box have a DVI output then. And yes, component is working, but I want to use DVI to HDMI, so I can see 3D.

Which TV should I buy model, Sony NX710 NX810 or 3D?

Between the NX710 and NX810 3D-TV, the only difference seems that the refresh rate are: 120Hz vs. 240Hz How much difference does that make the picture quality.? Sony's online description is the same for both "provides uniform Motion detail in fast moving scenes.
