   you cannot buy books from sony website unless you have an address and credit card in us. Also the unit will not accept encrypted adobe files in which most ebooks are stored. So, basically useless outside of US

   Very beautiful presentation. I was about to make the purchase of the PRS-505 and your presentation dissuaded me. The behavior of the apparatus is completely poor with files pdf: no the gradual enlarging of the image, not of run… the whole blocked in a format 6 inches into diagonal. My only another option is Iliad of iRex which is sold at disproportionate price, that is to say the double. Décidement, the offer of the techno ebook is very limited.

    Très belle présentation.

    J’étais sur le point de faire l’achat du PRS-505 et votre présentation m’en a dissuadé. Le comportement de l’appareil est tout à fait médiocre avec les fichiers PDF : pas d’agrandissement graduel de l’image, pas de défilement … le tout bloqué dans un format 6 pouces en diagonal.

    Ma seule autre option est le Iliad de iRex qui se vend à prix démesuré, soit le double. Décidement, l’offre de la techno ebook est très limitée.
