Decide Between Handheld and Console Video Game Systems
Some video game systems purely focus on gaming while others offer more sophisticated multimedia capabilities such as music and movie playback. When deciding what type of video game system to buy, consider portability, the age of gamers in the household, and multimedia features.

Choose a Video Game Console

The latest batch of 2005 and 2006 video game consoles represent another quantum leap forward in video game graphics, online play, and functionality. Microsoft launched Xbox 360 in November 2005. Sony and Nintendo will introduce new systems in 2006, hoping to make a splash with PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Revolution. They aim to satisfy hardcore gamers with an intense craving for cutting-edge technology, superior graphics, new peripherals, a richer online experience, more multimedia functionality than their predecessors, and advanced game play options (such as game downloads).

The newest generation of handheld video game systems includes Nintendo DS and Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP). But slightly older Nintendo Game Boy Advance (released 2001) and Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP (released 2003) are still more common and have a large selection of games available at reasonable prices.

Should games should be stored into "resealable polypropylene bags" if they are brand new and still factored sealed?

    This is a hobby
    for fun……………………

I hate to tell you this, but you don’t want to do that. Games don’t gain value unless they are the SUPER RARES, like: Ikaruga for GC or Streets of Rage 3 for Sega.

or insanley populair but even then their value only goes down
in fact even the super rare games can decrease in value if the company decides to re release them
games such as snatcher sega cd
    panzer dragoon saga
    astra super stars
    radient silvergun
    or final fight 4
    are valuable for various reasons

the sega cd version of snatcher is the only english version released thus far until off course konami decides to re release it in english
metal gear 2 for the msx 2 used to be worth anywhere betwee 130 to 600 for a copy do you think its stil worth that much now that the game has been translated and included with mgs 3 subsistence ?
    ..doubt it

panzer dragoon saga is expensive because it had a relativley smal production run ( 16 to 26,000 )
and sega is stil not re releasing it

final fight 4 was one of the last saturn games

astra super stars and radiant silvergun are japan only games that are wanted

and lets not talk about the neo geo or the wonder swan or the 32 cdx shall we ?

As long as you keep them out of direct sunlight as UV rays could fade the packaging and store them in a place where it doesn’t get too hot or too cold they should stay in good shape for a long time.
