   On Friday, 04/03/09, I tried another beta that allowed my radio to function here in the US. A new button, ‘enable all bands’, in the ‘Unlock’ tab does the magic.

   I can confirm that this works w/T-Mobile and AT&T from gprs to hsdpa. It’s a beautiful thing.

   My P is from conics w/the 1.86GHz z540. A great unit to be certain. Well worth it.

   jkkmobile, conics, and dc-unlocker are phenomenal!

   I don’t really understand what this means. I’ll be able to use another sim card and it’s not restricted to a specific card or?
   Now I just need to buy one of those and then I can unlock it.
   Though me being able to buy something new, tech wise, well, lets put it this way, will only happen when (where I live) has a winter with +42°C.
   Is it any good though? I hate those small joystick-mice stuff.. They’re a bit annoying.

   Unlocking the US version is not yet confirmed with unlocker… but there are other ways..

   If I buy a Vaio P in the States and I unlock the 3G modem with this software, do you think it would be possible to use it with European SIM cards from mobile operators using CDMA or HSDPA?

   broblem with many of these devices is that u can’t buy them on the contry u are living…

   .. like this vaio p, u can only buy this version from japan.. and it’s locked to local carrier.

   whats the point of having 3 unlocks.. most people just want one… i’m guessing people could always just share an account (as they would only be using it once) lol
