What are the file formats Sony DVD player ns67p can read?

I have various types of video and audio formats in my local harddisk. I would like to copy them to a CD disk and use the Sony DVD player to do the playback. I have video formats such as avi, mpg, mpeg, dat and audio formats such as mp3, wma. I know the player can surely read mp3 formats. But I would like to know, whether it can read the rest of other formats ? Which formats I have to change them to view them on my player.

Can anyone help me please ?

DVD format is VOB, I think that's the answer.
