   sony cameras are terrible, i would definatly go with canon for a good camera, much better quality and more relianant support staff, making it a much better buy, try the digital rebel from canon

   ive owned a few cameras of each brand, the sony broke within a few months, the canons my best

   I would definitely go with Canon model for the obvious reason. They have been in the photography industry for many years, and they are certainly well versed. True you may pay a bit more, but for technology and knowledge in this equipment, then I would stick with the best.
