why does my sony camera work only sometimes?

I have a sony dsc-n2 10.1 mega pixel camera. It worked good for a year and just recently it started acting up. Sometimes it takes very blurry pics and sometimes when you turn it on it says “turn off camera and turn on again”. Then sometimes it takes pics just fine. What could it be?

Check with Sony … they can figure this out if anyone can
