Sony Buyer

I have a Sony Ericsson W580i and it recently stopped working. Since it was under warranty I had a new one mailed to me. When I put my Sandisk memory card in the new phone my old phone backgrounds and ringtones didn’t transfer over. They’re on the phone, but I can’t use them. However, my pictures and contacts did transfer over. Why don’t my old backgrounds and ringtones work on the new phone and why is that happening?
