   Because Microsoft are money grubbing whores. Seriously though, they put alot of $$ into servers and the live service and to enjoy that content you end up paying a premieum fee. thats why I love Sony. they have never charged for online services.

   Yeah, I dunno, it's pretty gay, but hey, the Xbox itself is awesome, and the live experience is SO awesome, so I suppose it's worth it, but right now people are working to get them to make it free. Put in your gamertag "Free Xbox live" and if some random amount of people do it, they'll make it free. Or so I've heard, iono…

   Because there are so many that use the online play on the xbox and xbox 360 it takes a lot to maintain the servers along with those that are paid to maintain them. People have been trying to get it free, but if that's the case I see servers getting worse than they already are as there won't be anyone paid to fix issues like there are now. Yes Microsoft continues to cost you money and take when able, but also…they are so popular they are able to do that. And when a fence goes up they just find another way to take it. *Shrug* Personally I think just a 360 or original without the online can be fun, but if you want to meet people all over the world xbox live is the way to go. That and your accounts never go away, just go inactive if you don't pay them.
