im planning on buying a dsc-h50/b sony camera and am wondering will my psp memory card work with is or will i have to buy a differnt sd card

also what is the average battery life for it

Any memory card will need formatting in the device you are going to use it in, the camera will need to put a DCIM file onto the card so it can locate the pictures in the cards memory pages.

Formatting will effectively erase anything you have on your card from the psp so your scores will be deleted.

Trying to use the card in a camera without formatting will lead to card corruption. See here;-

If you decide to use the card in the psp again it will need formatting in that, which will effectively erase any pictures on it.

Memory cards are so cheap nowadays it’s really not worth the trouble.

You can find the number of images per battery charge by going to the Sony website and looking up that model.

If the memory card is a Memory Stick, then it will work. The question is, how large is the card? If it is smaller than 4 GB, just buy a new card for your new camera
