i have a sony HC35 handycam with the base station. when i connect it 2 my laptop via an i.Link cable it connects for about a minute then says it has lost connection wit the camcorder meanin i cannot import my videos from the camera to my laptop….somebody help me please!! thank u!
on the camcorder, go through the menu and see if the auto shutoff or power saver options are on.
i’ve only had that problem when it’s on the camera, never happened on the play mode.

my old camcorder did it a lot, it developed a defect that would shut it down constantly at diffrent intervals, hope yours hasnt got the same problem.
